Well worth it. The instructions are downloaded from their website as two PDF files, and give step by step guidance on running the wires and lights, what to remove and then reinstall, and how things install. The end result is amazing but three parts of this are hard. First, there are two tiny LEDs at the back of the car that install behind some red triangular pieces. The first one, on the right side, is tricky to get lined up so it faces out. Use the provided tweezers, but still hard. Second, the long red rear lights don’t stick well to the flexible LEGO parts. You will need some patience. Finally, the box with the batteries (it runs on 3 AA batteries, not provided) has no convenient place to sit or mount. We just had it placed on the passenger seat. With patience and care, and following the instructions, this installs quite well overall, and when we get our next LEGO Technics kit, we will likely buy from this seller again for that. Last picture shows it mounted on the iLuane wallboard that I can also recommend.
Really nice add on but the light fixtures in the back does not fit really well. Other then that it's really a must
As you can see in the pictures light kit is awesome. It takes a lot of patience to run the wires where they gotta go. But i enjoyed it very much and the lights are bright. Well worth the money
